Ajay Devgan, who is known for his hardcore action in all his earlier films returned with the same impact in the film Singham. But he didn’t look much satisfied with the collection of his latest release as the expectations were quite higher.
Rohit Shetty is the director of the film who had also directed his last action film Zameen in 2003. After Zameen, Golmaal (2005), Golmaal Returns (2008) and Golmaal 3 (2010), the director-actor duo are now planning their sixth venture Bol Bachchan which will be a re-make of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Golmaal (1979), with Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay playing the roles of Amol Palekar and Utpal Dutt respectively.
Talking about the role Ajay said, “The film is a comedy but since I play a wrestler, there’s plenty of scope for action”. Some of his upcoming movies are-David Dhawan’s Rascals and co-produced by Sanjay Dutt, releasing in October ,Priyadarshan’s Tezz which has been shot in London. Both include a light action sequence.
Ajay is also co-producing the Hindi remake of Telugu hit, Maryada Ramanna. The film opposite Sonakshi Sinha and titled as S.O.S—Son of Sardar. For which he said, “Akshay has the title. I’m going to request him to give it to us but if he’s already making a film with it, we’ll think of another one.”
